Questions about the Axis Shelving Unit in walnut finish (7)

Ask a question

Alex 3 Apr 2012

What is the maximum weight that each shelf of the Axis Shelving Unit could hold?

Made Customer Services 3 Apr 2012

The Axis Shelving Unit's individual shelf could each hold approximately 15kg, though it is not recommended for storing particularly heavy items.

Tamar 11 Mar 2013

What assembly is involved in the axis range?

Made Customer Services 11 Mar 2013

You simply fit pegs into pre drilled holes in each panel adding a dab of supplied glue to each, then attach each panel together. We supply all necessary parts and instructions for this.

Kerry 26 Jan 2012

If I place two of these shelving units next to each other will there be any gap between them?

Made Customer Services 26 Jan 2012

Two of the Axis shelving units placed together would sit flush against each other.

Carole 10 Jan 2013

Can I use the axis shelving unit on its side rather than vertically?

Made Customer Services 10 Jan 2013

The structure of the unit has been designed with a vertical set up in mind, therefore the structure may not function correctly if set up as you suggest. I would also advise that the underside of the base is not lacquered and this would be visible if the shelving unit were set up horizontally.

Nicola 27 Oct 2012

Can the Axis Shelving Unit be wall mounted?

Made Customer Services 27 Oct 2012

The Axis Shelving Unit is designed as a free standing unit and not designed to be wall mounted.

Lesley 3 Nov 2012

Can I use the Axis unit as a room divider? That is, is it finished on both sides?

Made Customer Services 3 Nov 2012

This unit is lacquered on all sides and could be used as a room divider.

Alex 11 Apr 2012

What is the maximum weight that each of these shelves could hold?

Made Customer Services 11 Apr 2012

The axis shelves are robust unit, we estimate that each shelf can hold up to 15kg. The one we use in the office in China is currently supporting lots of books and catalogues.
