The Jonah beds are only available with clear lacquered solid birch legs.

I'm thinking of buying this bed but would need to get it up 3 flights of stairs. Is is self-assembly or does it come pre-assembled?

These beds do require assembly by two people. This does mean that it should be easy to get the parcels into your property (just check the packed dimensions above).

Will this fit a standard 140 x 190cm UK double mattress?

This would result in a 5cm gap at each end of the mattress. Ideally this bed will be used with a slightly larger 160 x 200cm Euro double mattress as sold separately on our site.

This is called grey but actually looks beige on the picture to me, could you please clarify.

The colour is a warm/sandy coloured Grey which does give it tones close to Beige. If you are in need of a more definite grey we would recommend the Jonah in Shire Grey.
