An exciting young textile designer we discovered at New Designers 2011, Tanya takes traditional subjects and re-works them in a fun, up-to-date way. Since graduating from Cleveland College of Art and Design with a first in Textiles and Surface Design, she's worked with Baxter Fawcett and Timorous Beasties as well as developing her own designs. We can't wait to see what's next for her.

Jochem Faudet

Design bio
With a background in industrial design and engineering, Jochem later specialised in product design, setting up his own studio in Shoreditch, London. In 2011 he joined forces with Jon Harrison to create Faudet-Harrison. Together they work on a cross-section of product, furniture, interior and exhibition design and manage an extensive list of clients.

Lucinda Ireland

A recent graduate of Nottingham Trent University, Lucinda Ireland is an up-and-coming illustrator and graphic designer. In 2011, she won Hallmark's 'New Designer of the Year' at New Designers. In creating her striking, colourful designs she looks to vintage typography for inspiration.

After graduating from Bournemouth University in Furniture Design and Business, Sean Dare went on to work with some of the most prestigious furniture makers in the UK. His designs retail on a global basis throughout Europe, USA and Asia. He has won several awards including Best Upholstery - Napoli for Ercol, The Interiors Show 2009 and Best Furniture Product - Katakana Desk for Dare Studio Hidden Art 6th Awards.

Lodovico Bernardi

Lodovico was born in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. He works across a wide range of disciplines, from furniture through to lighting, household products and packaging. Specialising in wooden products and driven by a passion for inventiveness, materials and form, he has collaborated with Aldo Cibic, iGuzzini lighting and several other design offices.

Ross McBride

Minimalist, concept-driven, adventurous
Design bio
Hailing from California and with a background in graphic design, Ross McBride moved to Japan and later turned his eye to product design in the late 1990s. Since then, he has exhibited all over the world, and won several awards for his clever and imaginative pieces, including the Red Dot Design Award in 2010 for his 'Dolly' salt and pepper set.

With a family background in upholstery and mattress manufacturing in Sweden, Mattias Söderberg has been working in product design since 2007. In his career he's worked with major retailers, and been based in China as well as Europe. Passionate about combining new materials and modern colours, his look is direct and daring.

Peter O'Toole studied illustration and graphic design at Bradford University. He works from his studio in Huddersfield and also runs Dirt Cheap Magazine. In his career to date he has worked on designs for Microsoft, Addict Clothing and creative organisation Pop Up Projects.

Jennifer Cooper

Design bio
English designer and stylist Jenny Cooper studied Textiles at Chelsea College of Art and Design, part of University of the Arts London where she specialised in printed design and surface manipulation. After developing an awareness of the environmental issues created by printing textiles, she now develops alternative ways to connect the visual aesthetics of print with a more sustainable output.
