Questions about the Moritz Open Storage Unit in white oak and white (4)

Ask a question

Mike 10 Sep 2012

Is it possible to attach the Moritz Open Storage Unit to the wall?

Made Customer Services 10 Sep 2012

While it may be possible to achieve this, the Moritz Open Storage Unit was designed to be placed on the floor and may be too heavy, so it is not something we would recommend

Michael 22 Mar 2012

Can the Moritz Open Storage Unit be attached to a wall?

Made Customer Services 22 Mar 2012

Whilst this might be technically feasible it is not something we would recommend. The Moritz Open Storage Unit is designed principally to be placed on a floor and as such would be too heavy for most standard walls to hold.

Julie 11 Nov 2012

Could I stand the Moritz Open Storage Unit on its side? It would fit better this way in my living room.

Made Customer Services 11 Nov 2012

This unit has a built in base for it to stand on and therefore would not look very attractive if you put it on its' side. We could not guarantee its structure for this purpose. It may be a better idea to look at some other alternatives, the Axis Shelving Unit is a beautifully crafted piece which would fit in a narrower space.

Duncan 21 May 2012

I want to use the Moritz Open Storage system as an AV unit with TV on top would I be able to cut out a hole in the back panel for wires to connect up DVD, WII etc ?

Made Customer Services 21 May 2012

The unit is made from engineered wood and so this would be visible where you may drill through the veneer. Also I cannot confirm if the veneer may or may not be damaged if you drill through it. If you do carry out any work such as this on the unit we will be unable to take this back as a return under any circumstances.
