Is this item modular or are the two halves of the sofa bed permanently attached? Reason I ask is that I have a narrow staircase and hallway to navigate to get into my 2nd floor flat.

The two halves of the sofa do not come apart. However the sofa is delivered without the legs attached, and the sofa does pivot in the middle. This should allow ease of access through some tight spaces.

This would be suitable for use as a bed 5 nights a week. If you have enough space though you might want to consider our Halston sofa beds as they could provide a higher level of comfort is used constantly as a bed.

The Yoko collection comes in a box with the dimensions of 182 x 112 x 19cm. You probably wouldn't find another sofa bed that would fit through such a small gap!

I can confirm that all our furniture is produced to meet the British standards for domestic use and all our upholstered items have been tested to meet the BS5852 regulation for fire safety. You should check exactly which requirements you need to meet for your specific use.

Will the top of the back sit flush against the wall? The way the base juts out a bit at the back I'm concerned it might leave an odd looking gap.
