Is it possible to remove the castors from the legs of the Orson Armchair? I have hard floors and am concerned that it would be unsafe on this surface

The castors on the legs of the Orson Armchair cannot be removed, however the back legs do not have castors so it would certainly be quite stable on most domestic surfaces.

The fabric of the Orson contains both linen and cotton, giving it a very natural and high quality look and feel. A portion of manufactured material in the fabric gives it much higher durability, but does not affect the classic look of this fabric. The Orson is delivered fully-made but with the legs detached. The dimensions of the Orson sofa with the legs detached are 202 x 96 x 78cm. You can also find the exact packaging dimensions further up on this page.

We have a first floor flat with a narrow twisting staircase from the ground floor and a small door frame into the flat itself. Is it possible to have the sofa delivered in parts so that we can assemble it ourselves?

This sofa is always delivered in a single piece as this is how it is finished by the factory. we cannot supply an unassembled version of this sofa. The only assembly that is left to complete upon delivery is for the legs to be attached.

This measurement is approximately 75cm.The sofa is designed such that it can fit through a standard UK door. We would suggest that you measure any tight corners or access points to ensure that you avoid disappointment.

Are the castors detachable? If not, how can I protect my wooden floor?

You could theoretically remove the castors, but the front of the sofa would then tip forward significantly and this could effect the structure of the sofa. We would recommend that you could purchase castor cups from any hardware store.
