We have a first floor flat with a narrow twisting staircase from the ground floor and a small door frame into the flat itself. Is it possible to have the sofa delivered in parts so that we can assemble it ourselves?
Made Customer Services, 26 Aug 2012
This sofa is always delivered in a single piece as this is how it is finished by the factory. we cannot supply an unassembled version of this sofa. The only assembly that is left to complete upon delivery is for the legs to be attached.
Vie, 26 Jul 2012
What is the seat depth of this sofa.
Made Customer Services, 26 Jul 2012
The seat depth of the Orson is approximately 70cm.
Barry, 12 Feb 2012
What is the height of the 3 seater Orson sofa out of the packing and with the legs removed ?
Made Customer Services, 12 Feb 2012
This measurement is approximately 75cm.The sofa is designed such that it can fit through a standard UK door. We would suggest that you measure any tight corners or access points to ensure that you avoid disappointment.
Geraldine , 23 Apr 2013
How comfortable is the Orson sofa? I just parted from my old sofa which was too firm from the back cushions but also the seats.
Made Customer Services, 23 Apr 2013
The seat cushions are very comfortable, the foam is light and it tends to last a long time. However there is no cushion on the back so if you are looking for a sofa that gives excellent lumbar support you may wish to add one or two scatter cushions.
Catriona , 28 Mar 2012
Do you have any customer reviews on the Orson?
Made Customer Services, 28 Mar 2012
Why not click on the 'home snaps' link above. You will be able to see an image of a customers sofa in their home.
Marie, 18 Sep 2012
Are the castors detachable? If not, how can I protect my wooden floor?
Made Customer Services, 18 Sep 2012
You could theoretically remove the castors, but the front of the sofa would then tip forward significantly and this could effect the structure of the sofa. We would recommend that you could purchase castor cups from any hardware store.
Victoria , 17 Mar 2013
Is the fabric durable enough to have in a rental property?
Made Customer Services, 17 Mar 2013
All our furniture is produced to meet the British standards for domestic use and all our upholstered items have been tested to meet the BS5852 regulation for fire safety. The fabric is designed to stand up to everyday domestic use.
Julie , 3 Mar 2013
Can I have the Orson with a different coloured set of legs to those show with this fabric?
Made Customer Services, 3 Mar 2013
Each fabric and leg colour combination available is shown on our site. We cannot supply one fabric option with the legs from another.
Julia, 17 Apr 2012
Can the seat cushions on the Orson 3-seater be turned over? - i.e. does the poppy red fabric cover both sides of the cushions, or is there a different backing fabric on them?
Made Customer Services, 17 Apr 2012
The backing of the cushions is a contrasting black fabric. So you wouldn't be able to turn them over. The covers are made of a durable fabric and can be removed for cleaning.
Louise, 12 Dec 2012
Can the legs be taken off and then put back on? Just checking that I can actually fit it into house.
Made Customer Services, 12 Dec 2012
I can confirm that the Legs can be removed from the Sofa and it will arrive without the legs attached. The legs are very easy to fit and just screw into the base.
Sara, 7 Jan 2013
Is it possible to have the Orson sofa upholstered in a different fabric or colour to those offered?
Made Customer Services, 7 Jan 2013
We can only supply this sofa in the fabrics shown.
Alastair, 30 Jan 2013
Can you provide arm caps for the Orson?
Made Customer Services, 30 Jan 2013
We do not currently offer any arm covers for our sofas.
Anne , 17 Apr 2013
Is the overall look linen or does it look shiny?
Made Customer Services, 17 Apr 2013
This fabric contains both linen and cotton, giving it a very natural and high quality look and feel. There is a portion of manufactured material in the fabric and this gives it a much higher level of durability and would be ideal for use in the home where it will come into contact with day to day wear.
Rebecca, 5 Nov 2012
Where is the Orson furniture made?
Made Customer Services, 5 Nov 2012
The Orson Range is made in China.
Andrea , 14 Apr 2012
Is the back of the sofa fairly solid and supportive? Can the sofa be returned once it has been unpacked and tested?
Made Customer Services, 14 Apr 2012
The Orson does have a reasonably supportive back. We do offer a seven day returns policy, if you are not completely satisfied with you order you can return it for a full refund minus delivery and return costs.
Sharon, 23 Apr 2012

Made Customer Services, 23 Apr 2012
Yes, each fabric will look exactly the same and will be a consistent match across the range.
