Is it possible to remove the castors from the legs of the Orson Armchair? I have hard floors and am concerned that it would be unsafe on this surface

The castors on the legs of the Orson Armchair cannot be removed, however the back legs do not have castors so it would certainly be quite stable on most domestic surfaces.

You could theoretically remove the castors, but the front of the sofa would then tip forward significantly and this could effect the structure of the sofa. We would recommend that you could purchase castor cups from any hardware store.

Is the fabric durable enough to have in a rental property?

All our furniture is produced to meet the British standards for domestic use and all our upholstered items have been tested to meet the BS5852 regulation for fire safety. The fabric is designed to stand up to everyday domestic use.

This fabric contains both linen and cotton, giving it a very natural and high quality look and feel. There is a portion of manufactured material in the fabric and this gives it a much higher level of durability and would be ideal for use in the home where it will come into contact with day to day wear.
