Can your sofas be delivered partially built to allow easier delivery?

Almost all of our sofas are delivered with the legs detached to allow for easier delivery. Most of our sofas can not be taken apart further and are delivered as one piece, but we do have some sofas, like the Abingdon Modular Sofa Set that will come in separate pieces. Our sofas are designed so that they won't damage floors under normal usage, but if you have delicate floor or carpets then we might recommend looking to third-party retailers for carpet protectors.

How are the legs stored for delivery?

The legs are stored in a zipped compartment located underneath the sofa. If you turn the sofa upside down, you will be able to locate the legs.

Can the the Vittorio sofa and chaise can be connected together or are they just meant to be positioned next to each other? I am concerned that they might move apart if so, is this ever a problem?

The two parts can be connected together with a part that is provided for this. Equally the two parts can be used separately should you wish.

The legs are screwed in using an M8 screw and could theoretically be replaced if you find a compatible set of legs.

Theoretically, would my husband be able to fit some legs that we make onto the sofa, or would that interfere with the integrity of the structure - ie is the shape of your legs necessary for the support?

We would not recommend replacing the legs, however theoretically you could replace the legs should you wish as they are attached by screws.

The cushions on the Vittorio Right Hand Facing Corner Sofa are not reversible and unfortunately we do not currently sell extra covers for this sofa.

This is indeed a comfy sofa and is ideal for family life. It's made from a durable and hard wearing fabric. It isn't wipe clean, and we do advise that it is professionally cleaned.

Is the sofa delivered in 2 pieces? I ask as I live in a flat and may have trouble getting it through the door otherwise. Do you deliver the sofa into the flat or leave it at the door step?

It will be delivered in two pieces: the sofa and then the chaise part. We ask that the deliver drivers take the goods to your room of your choice so they will not leave them on the door step.

I am afraid that it is not possible to remove the arm of the Vittorio Sofa as it is made as a solid unit. You might want to consider our more flexible Abingdon modular range.

If you bought a left hand facing and a right hand facing sofa in the Vittorio range you would be able to make a longer sofa part. You would still have to purchase the chaise parts of the sofa as we do not sell the items separately.

This sofa is not prone to sagging/sinking. The foam used is an upholstery grade foam and looks a little like sponge.

I understand that the back covers can be removed for cleaning, but what about the seat covers? How can these be cleaned if needed?

The seat cushions are not removable and need to be cleaned by an upholstery specialist. Most spillages can be removed quickly with a soft cloth to avoid staining.
