I'm concerned that the Wolseley 2 Seater Sofa will not fit through the narrow entry into the room we'd like to put it. Are the legs detachable, and if so what is the height of the sofa with these detached?

Almost all of our sofas are delivered fully-made but with the legs detached. To help you decide whether or not the Wolseley sofa will fit into your house, be sure to refer to the packaging dimensions listed above on this page. The height of the sofa with the legs detached is 85cm, and this can be reduced even further to 65cm by removing the cushions.

How close are the photographs to the actual colour of the 'rust' piping? Is the the colour more orange than brown?

Does the Wolseley collection come with any kind of stain proofing on the fabric? Can you tell me about the care of the wool tweed?

The Wolseley does not come with stain proofing. You can purchase this independently online/on the high street and apply at home should you wish. Its best advised to try it on an inconspicuous area first. We recommend professional upholstery cleaning for this product. Most spillages can be removed with a soft cloth.

I love the sofa, but your website states the colour as green. It looks like a hue of brown to me which l particularly like.

I can confirm that wool tweed fabric is predominantly green however the weave also includes brown tones. The on screen colour is very close to how it looks in the room.

Don't worry, the only assembly is to attach the feet into pre-set fixings. It's a very simple process.

The fabric is a soft wool and is not scratchy. It's a great hard wearing fabric that will give your sofa a long life.

The seat covers can be taken off for professional cleaning. You can turn the cushion over and the undersides are upholstered and fully finished.
