I like this furniture but I wonder if it can be sent just plain and I can do my own distressing? Or does it come in any other colour?

Yes, the Bourbon Vintage Storage Bench, Distressed Grey is ideal to be used both as a storage box and equally as a bench to be sat upon.

Could I use this as a TV stand?

This storage bench would be sturdy enough to hold the weight of a TV, but it would not make the ideal TV stand as you could then not use the storage as it has an opening lid. You might want to consider our Regent Media Unit instead.
