Are these tables heatproof and waterproof? Would I need to use a coaster for mugs of coffee etc?

The lacquer will provide some resistance against water and heat, however we would still recommend using coasters. Leaving hot or wet items on the table directly could damage the lacquer and discolour or stain the wood.

Have these tables a pink tone in the oak? - it's hard to tell sometimes with the image.

The Twain Nesting Table is made from solid oak with a clear lacquer finish, the lacquer has no pink undertones, and whilst there will be some variation in the tones of the natural oak it is not likely to have a pink tone.
