I'm concerned that the Wolseley 2 Seater Sofa will not fit through the narrow entry into the room we'd like to put it. Are the legs detachable, and if so what is the height of the sofa with these detached?

Almost all of our sofas are delivered fully-made but with the legs detached. To help you decide whether or not the Wolseley sofa will fit into your house, be sure to refer to the packaging dimensions listed above on this page. The height of the sofa with the legs detached is 85cm, and this can be reduced even further to 65cm by removing the cushions.

Can your sofas be delivered partially built to allow easier delivery?

Almost all of our sofas are delivered with the legs detached to allow for easier delivery. Most of our sofas can not be taken apart further and are delivered as one piece, but we do have some sofas, like the Abingdon Modular Sofa Set that will come in separate pieces. Yes the Wolseley sofa does come in other fabrics. The full range can be viewed via the following link: http://www.made.com/collection/wolseley-collection . We are not able to make a bespoke/one off Wolseley sofa in any other fabrics.

Does the Wolseley collection come with any kind of stain proofing on the fabric? Can you tell me about the care of the wool tweed?

The Wolseley does not come with stain proofing. You can purchase this independently online/on the high street and apply at home should you wish. Its best advised to try it on an inconspicuous area first. We recommend professional upholstery cleaning for this product. Most spillages can be removed with a soft cloth.

The seat covers can be taken off for professional cleaning. You can turn the cushion over and the undersides are upholstered and fully finished.

Is the Wolseley settee really comfortable with it being foam seats and not feather? I love the tweed and feel it will be less high maintenance given the properties of wool. Am I correct in my thinking?

I have sat on this sofa and confirm that it is definitely comfortable. The foam means that you don't have to constantly plump the cushions. Wool tweed is known for being relatively heard wearing and this is no exception.
