Are we really still talking about pink? Yes, we are. When it comes to interiors, no other colour has had such a home run. Want to know how to get in on the look? Munich-based editor Karoline Herr – curator of this Instagram feed of dreams – shares some fresh ideas on how to bring blush to your own four walls.

1. Pink has long outgrown its Barbie days. There are so many nuances and options available now, so you can go down a modern, calm or romantic route.
2. Soft colours always work together. The combo in our bedroom is a great example – I went with cool blue-grey wallpaper next to warm Scandi pink sheets. Grey and pink is always a good idea, if you don’t know where to start.
3. Which brings me to my next tip: pay attention to undertones. Pink can have blue, yellow or reddish shades in it – being aware of them and mixing your pinks accordingly will result in a more harmonious look.
4. Pink is a great accent colour for more neutral interiors. For me, more is more – but if you don’t want to go all out, start with one piece: some artwork, a plant pot or a clock.
5. Blush tones look wonderful next to rattan and cane (this pairing is pretty much fail-safe). Case in point: our Liana wardrobe styled with pastel-coloured storage trunks.
