Today, London Underground is one of the busiest tube networks in the world. But in the 1900s it was struggling to fill seats. Frank Pick, head of branding and publicity was tasked with reversing the Tube’s fortunes. Pick insisted on solid quality absolutely everywhere. Even using brass buttons on ticket kiosks, which incidentally, have lasted over a century. Noted and added to our Kilburn storage.
