This is a lovely shade that adds character to a room with a high ceiling. We bought two to put in the living room and love them. We were hoping to buy more of these for our bedrooms, but having taken measurements, this style is too tall for smaller rooms with hanging lightbulbs (it would work if there was a way to reduce the cord length and have the shade closer to the ceiling). There seems to be a plastic reducer ring that comes with the shade, however it was too thick to screw our fittings back on, so we had to use thinner ones bought from Amazon (they work perfectly). All in all, very happy with the purchase! We'd been looking for the right lampshades for weeks, and were struggling to find the right fit; this one stood out immediately and met all expectations once we put it up.

This is such a lovely light shade. Packaged so well and looks great in the space we had in mind. Love it! One caveat - the connector / adaptor for the light fitting was thick and so we needed to get a thinner one so that it would be able to fit on our screw thread. No bother... just stopped me putting it up straight away.
