Does this pendant light fit on an existing basic light fitting?

You will need to replace and re-wire the ceiling rose, this is illustrated in the assembly instructions provided. The new ceiling rose and all necessary wiring is provided. We recommend this installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.

How long is the cord for the Hive Pendant Light?

The maximum drop on the lamp is approximately 75cm. The drop in the Hive pendant lamp can be adjusted via the length of the stainless steel cable which supports the shade.

Can you let me know the diameter of the ceiling rose and if it is compatible with a traditional ceiling rose.

I can confirm that this product is supplied with a matching ceiling rose. The diameter of this ceiling rose is approximately 15cm. You need to install the supplied ceiling rose and it will not work with your existing one.
