vagabond material, mismatched drawers, IKEA manages to be better

We like the drawers but just a word of warning, took us three hours to put together with two people involved.

It is easy to set up and looks great

Looks pretty good when finished, but there are all sorts of issues with the design of this: 1. The mounting holes for the metal feet were misaligned compared to the wood panel, causing the metal nuts to pop out - see photo. Not great for strength/stability. 2. The drawer handles are ever-so-slightly shorter than the drawers, so you have to centre them yourself - and there are no pre-drilled holes. 3. You need three sizes of screwdriver... 4. There are two sets of screws that are identical in shape and size, but not colour - black and silver. WHY? 5. Both the instruction steps and the components are numbered - needlessly confusing. 6. A lack of pre-drilled holes everywhere means that you definitely need a drill to save masses of effort in assembly. You also need a hammer, and not to be afraid to whack your brand new cabinet to get the feet on. 7. The drawers need alignment, but the screw holes suggested really don’t help with this process. We took the front ones out, and moved them to the top slotted holes to allow a bit of wiggle-room. Good packaging though!
